The Escort Bible for that cathedral city of Bury St Edmunds
An archeological dig in 2010 uncovered Bury St Edmunds Bronze Age origins. Additionally they found Roman artefacts. The city was a royal borough with the Saxons and obtained its name as a result of it getting the burial place of King Edmund The Martyr, who was killed via the Danes in 869. Evidently several miracles were done in the martyr king's Sh
